About me
Hi I'm Ethan. I am from south Louisiana. I have been carving for a little over 3 years and I have recently attended the 2008 world carving championship in Ocean City, Maryland. My inspirations for carving are the Danos brothers, Brunets, and the Viziers from down here. I have had the best mentors in the world. They have always helped me out and lend a hand. My grandpa and my friends have always been there to push me and I wouldn’t be who I am without them.
Keeping in tradition
For many years cajuns have been carving. It's a lifestyle and it's a way of life. I am trying the best that I can to learn and keep this tradition going.
Learning everything I can
Here I am at one of our local shows. I like to be involved with the judging so that I can learn more. When I help out the judges I get to hear what they are saying so I can make my ducks better. I am always trying to make my work better with every duck.
